Bullying is a serious issue for youth, and it affects so many (too many) LGBTQIA2S+ kids. It plagued my own childhood. In support of Pink Shirt Day, I'm offering 10% off all pink shirts from January through to February 26th, so you definitely have something to wear.
$1 from all pink shirts sold until February 26, 2023 will be donated to Skipping Stone Foundation, in support of gender non-conforming youth.
From the Unicef Canada blog:
On February 26, support children and youth and take a stand against bullying by participating in Pink Shirt Day. Here’s how to get involved:
- Wear pink. On February 26, wear pink and use the #PinkShirtDay and #PinkShirtPromise hashtags to share your photos online.
- Donate or fundraise. Support UNICEF Canada’s work to advance the human rights of children at home and around the globe.
- Get informed. Learn more about children’s rights.
- Celebrate diversity. Pink Shirt Day is about ending bullying and that starts with celebrating diversity and fostering empathy and kindness.
We hope you’ll join us in wearing pink on February 26!
